Zenkokuji Temple

Zenkokuji Temple was established in 1595.
The first priest was a friend of Ieyasu Tokugawa, the founder of Shogunate Government.

The original temple was located in Nihombashi but it's moved to Kagurazaka after the fire in 1792.

Current buildings were built after bombing in 1945.

Akagi Shrine

Current Akagi Shrine may be one of the most modern shrines in Japan.
It has new clean buildings including cafe.

But the history is long.
Original shrine was started in 1300 and moved to the current place in 1555.
Tokugawa Shogunate Government designated this shrine as one of three shrines in Edo in 1683. The other two shines are Hie Shrine and Kanda Myojin Shrine.

Kagurazaka

Kagurazaka is a fashionable town with combination of old and new style.
Kagurazaka has many restaurants and shops beside a long slope street.

But fun part is to walk in alleys behind the main street.
Narrow alleys with black wooden walls are like a maze and you'll find fine restaurants and small shops on these alleys.

Visiting this town at night is fun as well as daytime.
This town is popular among young ladies because of its fashionable air.
