Kyoto Tower

Kyoto Tower is a tower which looks like a candle in front of JR Kyoto station.
The observation deck is at the height of 100 meters above the ground.

There're many free binoculars to see temples and shrines in Kyoto.
You can see many famous sightseeing spots from here.

There's a shrine and a bar on the observation deck.

Telecom Center has an observatory on the 21st floor of East Tower.
You can see unique buildings and bridges in Odaiba.

Carrot Tower

Carrot Tower is a commercial building at Sangen-jaya station on Tokyu Line.
It's called Carrot Tower since the color of tiles on surface of the building is like a carrot.

It has a free observatory on the 26th floor.
It's open until 10 pm so you can enjoy night view of western Tokyo.

Shinjuku Sumitomo Building

Shinjuku Sumitomo Building is like a triangle chimney.
Since it has a ceiling, it's not a chimney but you can see the inside of the building through windows.

Of course, you can see the outside of the building, too.
There's a free observatory on 51 floor.

Location is good to see Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building closely.

Hokutopia

Hokutopia is a high rise building managed by Kita city.
It has concert halls, event halls and restaurants.

On the top floor of the 17 story building, there's an observatory.

Since this building is located in the north of Tokyo, it'll be against to sunshine.
So, when you see tall buildings in Tokyo, it is hard to see.

It's fun to see trains including Shinkansen (Bullet Train) on the foot of building.

Tokyo Skytree at Night

Tokyo Skytree has basic two colors, "Iki" blue and "Miyabi" purple.
Lighting shows these colors every other day.

"Iki" is a spirit of Edo (Old Tokyo) and "Miyabi" is a sense of beauty of Edo.
These colors are light and don't make a strong contrast against darkness of the night.

When we have an event or something special, Skytree may show different colors.

Tokyo Skytree

Tokyo Skytree is 634 m tall.
It's the tallest freestanding broadcasting tower in the world.

Observation decks are at the height of 350 m and 450 m.
Higher deck is almost twice as tall as all other observatories in Tokyo.

Asakusa may be the most popular place in Tokyo for foreign tourists.
I'd recommend to visit Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Canter first to get necessary information about Asakusa and Tokyo.

It's located in front of famous Kaminarimon Gate.

On the 8th floor, there's an observation terrace and a cafeteria.
You can see Nakamise Arcade and Tokyo Skytree very well.

But Tokyo Tower is still a symbol of Tokyo and very popular spot to visit.

Tokyo Tower is nice to see and its observatories are good place to see Tokyo.
It has two decks, lower  deck is at the height of 150 m and the higher deck is at 250 m.
