MIyano Kominka Shizen-en - Inside the house

There's an open hearth in a living room.
Boards on the floor of corridor facing to the garden have no joint.
Boards are about 9 m long.

There're many tools exhibited in the annex.

Miyano Kominka Shizen-en

This old house used to be owned by Miyano family.
It became open to public in 1985.

House was built abut 230 years ago.
Its roof is grass and now it's covered by copper plates.
Copper rusted in green.

Many different kind of trees were planted in the garden.
