Jousui means water supply.
Tamagawa jousui used to be a water supply in Edo era.
It looks like a river but it's man made canal.
Now it's a promenade along the canal.
To go to Museum of Sewerage, you need to walk along Tamagawa Jousui which was water supply canal.

Museum of Sewerage
Very unique exhibition of this museum is the real sewer.
You can get into the real sewer.
There's a bridge in the tunnel of sewer where you can see, smell and feel real sewer.
It's 25 m under the ground level.
There're exhibition rooms on each floor.
You can learn history and system of sewerage in Japan.
