Chion-in Temple

The great priest Honen started this place in early 13th century.

But most of current buildings were built in 1600s.
The existing oldest building is Seishido Hall which was built in 1530.

Stairs to Sammon Hall is very steep.

Main Hall and Sammon Gate are National Treasure.
It has several pictures and calligraphy which are National Treasure, too.
