Tokyo Metropolitan Building is outstanding with twin towers.

Each tower has observatory.
It may be interesting to compare the differences of the view.
View is unique because you can see other high buildings in neighborhood.
These buildings may have free observatories.
I like the one in Sumitomo Triangle Building.
Because Shinjuku is located in the western part of Tokyo, Mt. Fuji is closer.

You need to walk 15 minutes from JR(Japan Railways) Shinjuku station.
(It may be fun to see many different high buildings on the way, though.)

You should stop by Tourist Information Center on the 1st floor of main building No.1 so that you can get information about Tokyo and/or Japan sightseeing.
Free "Tokyo Handy Guide" book covers major sightseeing spots and you may get discount on some admissions by showing this book at the ticket counters.
You can get the same information at Haneda Airport International terminal 2nd floor and Keisei Ueno station (in front of the ticket gate).
