Eisei Bunko Museum

Eisei Bunko Museum is to exhibit treasures of Hosokawa family, one of feudal loads.
The president of this museum is Morihiro Hosokawa who was prime minister and the 18th head of Hosokawa family.

This museum is located on the top of the hill of Shin Edogawa Park which used to be a garden of Hosokawa family. Hosokawa family started from Yusai Hosokawa who was one of warriors in the age of civil wars in 16th century.

Collections include old drawings, calligraphy, items for tea ceremony, swords, armors, books, crafts and historical documents etc.

800 yen (Regular exhibition)

10:00-16:30   Closed on Mondays

You need to go through a stone gate to get into Shin Edogawa Park.
