Banknote and Postage Stamp Museum is managed by National Printing Bureau.
Actually this museum is located at right next to Oji Plant of National Printing Bureau.
On the first floor, there're exhibitions to show the technology to avoid counterfeit note and model of printing machines. You can try to carry 100 million yen notes to feel how heavy they are.
On the second floor, you'll see the history of banknotes and postage stamps in Japan and the world. Wide collection includes "Black Penny" which is the first postage stamp in the world.
There're rare banknotes from all over the world and many historic banknotes and stamps.
