Zeniarai Benzaiten Temple

There's Zeniarai Benzaiten on a little island in the pond in Inogashira Park.
Zeniarai means rinsing cash. If you rinse your cash in the stone sink, more money will come to you.

Benzaiten is a goddess of old India.
She is a god of water.

Statue of Benzaiten made in year of 789 was settled here in the middle of 10th century.
Yoritomo Minamoto, the Shogun in Kamakura era built a hall in 1197 to prey for peace of eastern country.
