Kansen-en Garden

Kansen-en means sweet fountain garden.
Water from the fountain here was good for tea.

This place used to be the garden of one of the feudal loads in Edo era.

It was owned by Waseda University and sold to Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 1961.
It's transferred to Shinjuku City in 1969.

There're two ponds at the bottom.
This place is hilly and the entrance at the upper side is connected to Mizu (Water) Inari Shrine.
