Tokyo Station - Yaesu side

Yaesu side of Tokyo station has Shinkansen (bullet train) tracks.

There's a terrace with a huge roof which is called Granroof.
Image of the roof is a big sail.

There was a high building on this side of the station.
This was teared down to turn to the Granroof to make wind path from Tokyo bay to Imperial Palace in 2013. This was designed to avoid urban heat island effect.
