Tokyo National Museum - Hyokeikan

Hyokeikan was built in 1909 in celebration of the wedding of the then Crown Prince and later Taisho Emperor.

It's opened when they have special exhibitions and events.
This building is built in Western style of late Meiji era.

Two lions are on the both side of the entrance. One opens its mouth and the other closes its mouth like Komainu at shrine.

620 yen (Regular Exhibitions)
9:30-17:00 (-20:00 on Fridays in Apr. through Dec.)  Closed on Mondays
