Shakujii Koen Furusato Museum is located between Shakujii Pond and Sampoji Pond.
This museum has special exhibitions and regular exhibition.
Regular exhibition has history of this area and unique one is the exhibition about white radish which is local specialty.
Also, it has replicas of town and house of 1950-60's.

Sampoji Pond
Sampoji Pond keeps natural plants and animals as they are.
Part of this area was designated as natural monument in 1935.
This pond is water source of Shakujii River.

Another one is Sampoji Pond.
There're baseball grounds and open air stage.
This place has many cherry blossoms around the pond.

Setagaya Art Museum
Setagaya Art Museum is in Kinuta Park.
This museum opened in 1986.
It had many special exhibitions from local arts to oversea's arts mainly in the area of contemporary arts. Collections are more than 15,000 items and some of them may be exhibited in regular exhibition.
Museum buildings are also unique and beautiful.
This museum has nice restaurant and cafe, too.

Suspension Bridge in Kinuta Park
There's a suspension bridge in the north west of Kinuta Park.
Tanido river, a branch river of Tama river runs in the park.
There's few suspension bridge in Metropolitan Tokyo.
This park has other three bridges on the river.
Height of the bridge is not so high but when you walk across the bridge, it trembles step by step.

Yoga Promenade
Yoga Promenade is a street to lead you from Yoga station to Kinuta Park.
It's also called a street with roof tiles because there're many different kinds of objects on the street.
Bridges, streams, monuments and roof tiles which has goblin's face to protect the house from monsters.
The street itself is covered with tiles and famous 100 poems are engraved on the street.
These old poems are well known as "Hyakunin Isshu". 100 poems by 100 poets were selected in 12th century by Teika Fujiwara who's known as a great poet. Pattern of these poems is called waka which has the rhythm of 5-7-5-7-7.
You'll find the first poem on the street near Yoga station and if you follow poems one by one, you 'll get to Kinuta Park.

Gate of Samurai Residence
There's a gate of samurai residence remains in the parking lot of condominiums.
It's funny to see cars parking in front of old style gate.
Only gate building remains, so there's nothing to see but this gate.
The gate is just standing there.

Kyu Kosaka-ke Residence
Kyu Kosaka-ke Residence was the second house of Junzo Kosaka.
He's a businessman and politician (1881-1960).
This house was built in 1937-1938.
After he lost his first house in Tokyo due to bombing in World War II, this house became his first house.
Its construction is a combination of Japanese style and Western style.
It's wooden one-story building (partially two-story).
You can get into the house and make self tour.
Volunteer may explain about this house.
