National Art Center, Tokyo reminds me of Tokyo International Forum.
Tokyo International Forum is art and convention center in Yurakucho.

This glass wall building has an unique vessel shape roof.

This place used to be feudal load residence and Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office was here from late 19th century until transfer to Shinjuku in 1991.

There's a statue of Dokan Ota who built Edo Castle (Current Imperial Palace) in 15th century.

Akasaka Rikyu

Akasaka Rikyu is National Guest House for VIP from foreign countries.
This was built as a palace for Prince in 1909.

In 1974, it's renewed as National Guest House.

It's open to public for only 13 days in a year, 10 days in August and 3 days in November.

You need to make a reservation in advance for the tour in summer.
Summer tour includes tour of inside the building.
About 2000 people a day will be invited to the tour.

Front yard of the building will be open on first 3 days in November.
You don't need reservations but you cannot see the inside of the building in autumn.

Chinzanso Gardens

Chinzanso is a wedding ceremony place with Japanese garden.
This place has Four Seasons Hotel right next to the garden.

There's a artificial waterfall just behind the glass wall of wedding chapel.
You can go to the back side of the waterfall. It's actually a hall way of the wedding place.

Surrounded by green leaves, three stories pagoda is on a hill.
This garden is open to public and you will see new couples in wedding dresses or gorgeous kimono taking wedding photos.

A garden view from the cafeteria through a large window is amazing.

Tokyo University campus is one of the best place to enjoy yellow leaves of ginkgo trees.
There's Sanshiro pond named after a best seller novel in Meiji era.
The author is the most famous writer in Japan, Soseki Natsume, who graduated from this school.

Since this university has long history, there are historic buildings such as Akamon or Red Gate, Yasuda Hall etc.

This place was the house of Maeda family, one of feudal loads in Edo era.
Akamon used to be the entrance of his house and it's now the entrance of the university.
